Embracing Nature's Splendor

Wright's Field is the perfect destination for a nature walk, offering an easy and picturesque trail that will take you through the beautiful scenery of Alpine. Small hills give a vantage point of the field, and Wright’s Field also offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It’s a great place to relax and take in nature.

For those seeking a more active hike, the Viejas Mountain Trail presents a thrilling opportunity to ascend to the summit of Viejas Mountain. While the steep ascent may test your stamina, the panoramic views from the top are well worth the effort. Dogs are welcome on the trail, so you don’t have to tackle it alone!

Just beyond Alpine's borders lies the sprawling expanse of the Cleveland National Forest. The forest is home to the first stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail (which, in total, measures an impressive 2,663 miles in length) as well as campgrounds, trails, and picnic areas. Don’t miss your chance to visit this renowned national forest!
