Facility Information
Lakeside, CA is a census-designated place located in the eastern part of San Diego County. Living up to its namesake, it's home to several lakes – including Lindo Lake, San Diego County's only natural lake, as well as Lake Jennings and the San Vicente and El Capitan Reservoirs. With so many beautiful lakes and reservoirs, it's no wonder that Lakeside is a popular destination for fishing, boating, jet skiing, and camping. It also is traditionally seen as a “cowboy town,” with plenty of ranches and horses to be found. It's home to the Lakeside Rodeo Ground, where the Lakeside Rodeo Association hosts at least two rodeos per year, along with plenty of other fun events. Lakeside combines the best of slower small-town living with the excitement that comes from being a part of San Diego County.
When StaxUP Storage found the opportunity to offer our storage unit solution to the people of Lakeside, CA, we jumped at the chance! First, we placed our storage rental facility where it would have easy accessibility to the 67 HWY and the city of Lakeside. We wanted this property to be another jewel in our portfolio and for its surrounding community; a new, state-of-the-art facility, built from the ground up with the customer in mind so everyone in Lakeside could find storage near them.
All three floors of this Lakeside storage facility have a flat, drive-up entrance. No need to climb or carry, as we provide push dollies on every floor for our customers’ use. If it better suits your needs, we do also offer an elevator for access to the floor you are renting a unit on. All units are interior units and have roll-up doors. Our facility is sure to have a storage solution for you, no matter the storage type.
The latest in technology, accessibility, and convenience; our customers use the Bluetooth entry app to gain entrance to the facility and their unit. Tenants can only access the floor of their unit, offering the height of security for you and your belongings.
Speaking of security, we provide constant, 24-hour video surveillance at every point of entrance and exit. Every unit in our Lakeside, CA storage facility is protected by a digital lock with a complete activity log for the unit – logging when it is accessed or locked. Also, the inside of every unit is equipped with a motion and heat sensor. This feature immediately notifies the Manager if there is activity inside the unit once you have locked and secured your unit. There is also a fire sprinkler located inside every unit.

“EDIT: I am updating my review to add that when I asked about increases, they said 10% a year would be the increase. Today after less than 5 months, I was given an increase from 68$ to 88$ dollars. There is either a miscommunication on what increases are or this is predatory practice. Either way I will be moving out. I do not like to be lied to. Very disappointed and will not be staying on for 88 a month. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have had the best experience with StaxUP. I was renting a different place closer to me but they weren't as clean. I was able to reserve my unit online and access it with ease. I am challenged when it comes to online stuff, but I had NO trouble. I called ahead and spoke to Brandi and she explained the process to me ahead of time. Everything took a total of 10 minutes. The facility is modern, clean and they have the best security. They also have hand trucks (like Costco) to haul your stuff inside from the car. I love having my Christmas and Halloween junk out of my apartment. This is the best storage facility I've ever utilized. THANK YOU TO BRANDI..”
