Nop estoy de acuerdo ya que recibo muchos paquetes en el mes ademas de pagar un storage h-53 no tiene luz. en usps solo te cobran $86 al ano y no te cobran por recepcion de paquetes subir el precio solo los llevara a cerrar su negocio es ridiculo que lo subas pago storage , buzon, y recepcion pago 3 servicios debes ser conciente de esto no es posible que cobres $85 pesos por solo un paquete es exagerado to cobro se mas concientede esto. Below is an interview with Calexico, CA team member Cesar Gallegos, who is celebrating his 1-year anniversary with StaxUP Storage this week.

Peter: How long have you been working with StaxUP Storage now?

Cesar: This will be my first year.

Peter: How have you liked working with them during the last year?

Cesar: I really like it. I like the way they do the teams here and I have learned a lot of things here at the different facilities here in the valley. .

Peter: Would you say that you work with some good people?

Cesar: Yeah, I am working with really good people here.

Peter: Nice, nice. Cool, so do you live down in Calexico?

Cesar: Yes, I live here in the facility.

Peter: Nice, so you’re the on-site manager there?

Cesar: Yeah, yeah I like it.

Peter: I know it’s hard to get away from work when you’re living on site, but when you aren’t at work do you have any hobbies?

Cesar: Yes, I like to do cycling or sometimes I play videogames here or there in the apartment.

Peter: I also like to cycle. Cycling is awesome. Are there any restaurants you like to go to in the area?

Cesar: Oh, yes. I like to go to the sushi restaurant. It’s called Kotori.

Peter: Great. I’ll try to keep it short, since I know you have a lot going on today. At the end of these, I like to ask if there’s anyone you’d like to give a shout out to. Is there anyone at StaxUP Storage who you think deserves a shout out?

Cesar: Yeah, Eddie, my manager here at Calexico. Eddie taught me everything. She is really a good person.

Peter: How long have you been with StaxUP and how did you get started?

Eddie: I’ve been with StaxUP for 2 years. I started at my property 5 years ago, so I have been at this facility for 5 years and with StaxUP for 2, since they took over. It’s been a pretty good ride so far with StaxUP.

Peter: Is it much different working for StaxUP than working for the previous company?

Eddie: Oh, yeah. It’s a big difference. I’ve learned how to manage my property, how to work a lot with money, how to deal with people’s problems, how I can solve them, how I can help them out in any way.

Peter: Right on. So after 5 years in self storage, you’ve had a lot of experiences and probably have a lot of stories. Do you have stories that you go to when people ask what it’s like to work in self storage?

Eddie: Well, I don’t really have one story. People have tried to access the facility after hours and I always catch them.

Peter: Are you scared?

Eddie: No, it’s an adrenaline rush.

Peter: Are you the on-site manager?

Eddie: Yes.

Peter: So, you’re basically there 24/7 watching over people’s stuff in a way.

Eddie: Yeah, yeah.

Peter: Do you ever feel like you are always at work?

Eddie: Not really. Well, I don’t live on the property, but I am here a lot. I come here after hours to walk the property and make sure everything is good.

Peter: It’s good that you’re not always at work. Do you have any hobbies that you want people at StaxUP to know about?

Eddie: Yeah, I like to go to the gym, play baseball, play softball, go to baseball games. I’m pretty active in sports.

Peter: Do you belong to any leagues.
Eddie: Yeah, softball leagues in the valley.

Peter: The last time I was in the valley, I thought it would be a great place to play sports. It’s so green and everything looks so healthy. Seems like a nice place to play outside.

Eddie: Yeah, for sure.

Peter: Are there any restaurants I should try the next time I am out there?

Eddie: Here in Calexico? There are a few taco shops, but if you want to get some really good food, it’s probably across the border.

Peter: Across the border?

Eddie: Yeah.

Peter: Do you cross the border a lot to have fun, eat, stuff like that?

Eddie: Oh, yeah. I probably go two or three times a week. There are a lot of people who cross the border daily.

Peter: Really, do you have a lot of people who store at StaxUP and cross regularly for business purposes.

Eddie: Yeah, most of our commercial tenants are from Mexicali.

Peter: It’s nice that StaxUP can contribute to the local economy.

Eddie: It’s pretty convenient for them.

Peter: I bet. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me. At the end of these interviews, I like to ask if there is anyone at the company who you thinks deserves a shout out. Is there anyone who has helped you out in the past who deserves some recognition?

Eddie: Yeah, Cesar. I want to give a shout out to Cesar, because he is always helping me out with everything and I just want to thank him.
